I don't blog much about my personal life, cause it's my personal life....and like most of you, I want to keep it separate from the 24/7 work life we all live. But I am so excited that I am compelled to share my PL on my blog. My son Josh is getting married this weekend. Wow. I'm thrilled for him and his bride to be Cori. They've known each other since college and are finally formalizing their commitment to each other. I'm delighted that there will be a fabulous celebration to mark the occasion. I believe in celebrating. No matter what - a party is always in order. Even in tough times like these - we must never stop being joyful. There's always great things happening...and to take time to acknowledge those things keeps us focused on the fact that our lives are good even when we're struggling! I don't know about you, but I'm keeping my focus on every little wonderful thing that happens each day. Today, the security guard held the elevator for me for the first time. Hey, it was cool! I'm all for appreciating small things in life....and this weekend, I'm celebrating a big thing, too! Party on!

Kudos Leslie!
The ability to focus on the 'good stuff'' with a happy heart --and a sense of humor-- is an art too many people haven't mastered. As a business speaker & motivational humorist, I firmly believe that "Laughter is a tool given us to help us on our life journey" and celebrating the good things is a huge secret to happiness. You would enjoy our new book "Burnt Toast & Jam" -- an easy read on how to deal with with life's burnt toast -(the bad stuff-big or small), scraping off the cinders and slapping on the jam -(the good stuff) . (It's available at www.amazon.com . Women love it as it provides heart and substance to those daily situations that we've all struggled with at one time or another. You might also enjoy receiving my FREE online newsletter 'Keys for Success' which is packed with personal and professional development tips & fun stuff. I love getting notes like this first thing in the morning. Life goes by so quickly, and it's the moments of celebration that make all the difference. The big moments such as you describe and the very small moments such as looking into the eyes of a loved one or watching the graying of the early morning sky into a new dawn. Have a fantastic day!
